THE EYE

Merging inspiration from Bucky-Domes and insectʼs compound eyes; ruins and sea-defences, we are exploring a steel structure+ platform which is both a viewing point and an ambiguous sculptural creation. It is, in a sense, ʻtimelessʼ, or ʻout of timeʼ. It is a place of observation and contemplation.

By embedding barcode-like ʻQR codesʼ in the structure, refreshed web-hosted information and interpretation can be downloaded/viewed on any smartphone.

THE HENGE

In creating this space, we take forward ideas and impulses derived from encounters with prehistoric tree-henges and tree-rings (dendrochronology and palaeo-artifacts).
